October TBR

Happy October!

This month my TBR is pretty small because of school assignments and other school-related commitments. I loved A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab when I read it in June, but I haven’t been able to continue the rest of the series. I’m planning to read the second book, A Gathering of Shadows.

I’m planning to read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I heard about this book from one of my favorite Youtubers.

I read This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab last month so I plan to finish the Monsters of Verity duology by reading Our Dark Duet.

I’m also currently in the middle of The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I read Cinder back in May, finished Scarlet a few days ago, and started Cress today.

As you can see, my goal is to catch up on series this fall.

What books are on your TBR this October/fall?

Thanks for reading!

  1. The Night Circus really is a magic read! I absolutely lost myself in Morgenstern’s descriptive writing style.
Loved The Lunar Chronicles as well; but Cinder was and still is my least favorite of the bunch. Stupid thing is that I still can’t explain why exactly. It’s just the one that pops up immediately when I think about it, haha.

I’m focusing on my physical TBR this month! As little eARC’s as possible; trying to demolish my own books before it gets even more out of hand. :’)

    Happy reading!

    1. I’m excited about The Night Circus. I’ve heard great things about it from so many people. So far, I think Scarlet is my favorite book in the series. I love Cinder as a character though.

Best of luck with OWNtober! Happy reading!

      1. The only negative I read a little while ago was someone saying that all the descriptive writing was hiding the lack of plot, but maybe that person was just too focused on the plot to enjoy the writing? I don’t know. It didn’t bother me at all, haha.
Same! Favorite character is and always will be Iko. She brings so much life to every installment!

        Thank you! You too!
