October Wrap Up

I can’t believe my last blog was a month ago. Actually, I think I can. I wanted to write a couple of reviews in October, but school, internship hours, and work consumed my life. I’m back and hopeful that I can write a few more blogs this month. I graduate from my program in the Spring, so hopefully, I’ll have a little more consistency after that. Although I didn’t blog, I read six books in October. I thought October would be a slow reading month because of my commitments, but didn’t turn out that way. The titles and ratings are below.

Cress by Marissa Meyer – 3.5/5

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab – 4.5/5

Winter by Marissa Meyer (audiobook) – 4/5

* Dear Martin by Nic Stone – 4.5/5

* Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare (reread) – 4.5/5

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan – 3.5/5

This month I finished the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer and Monsters of Verity duology by V.E. Schwab. Cress was my least favorite read this month because the pacing was slow and the multiple POVs dragged the plot sometimes. My favorite read this month was Dear Martin by Nic Stone. I wanted to cry after I finished Dear Martin because the story was so real and too common in our society.

What books did you finish this month? Have you read any of the books I finished this month?
