I had this post in my drafts, but I forgot to schedule it because of studying for my comps exam and applying for jobs this past week. I’m happy comps is over and now I can direct some energy towards getting caught up with blog posts, tags, and bookstagram.
I was tagged to do the 3 Days, 3 Quotes challenge and given how much I love book quotes, I couldn’t wait to do this tag! Thank you Kelly for tagging me! Make sure you check out her blog. It’s one of my favorites!
- Thank the person who nominated you
- Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day)
- Nominate three new bloggers each day
For my first quote, I decided to go with my favorite literary quote. I’ve never been able to finish reading A Tale of Two Cities, but I’ve started it enough times have this quote engraved in my memory:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” ― Charles Dickens,
What are your thoughts on this quote? Have you read A Tale of Two Cities? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading!
