Updated Blog Schedule

I just wanted to provide an update about my blogging schedule. At the beginning of the year, I wrote a post about my spring schedule. The goal I had in mind with this schedule was that it would give me flexibility, keep me accountable, and give me time to plan ahead. Since that post, I’ve added features to this blog that I like; however, I think they’re becoming too restrictive and structured, so I want to make some slight changes.

Posting Schedule: I’ll still post consistently a couple times a week; however, there won’t be set days for reviews and discussion posts. I liked having the set days, but sometimes it doesn’t work when I want to post something early or later in the week.

Features: I’m discontinuing my weekly wrap up posts indefinitely. This gives me some flexibility and I’ll reconsider this after I graduate next month. It’s difficult to write this when I haven’t read any books that week, so I want to table this feature for now.

I think taking away some of the structure will give me more flexibility and remove the pressures that comes with that sticking to that schedule.

As always, you can add me on Goodreads, and follow me on Instagram and Twitter. I’m active on all three sites.

Thanks for joining me on this blogging journey!

    1. I totally agree! Some parts of it will feel like work because this does take a lot of time and effort, but for the most part it should be fun! I think structure makes it less fun for me.
