Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It combines a love for lists, books, and brings bookish friends together. This week’s topic is Authors I’d Love To Meet. This list is the holy grail of authors that I would be thrilled to meet. I follow the authors below on social media and keep a close eye on their tour dates hoping they will announce events in cities near me. I think I would be an incoherent mess if I ever met them, but I’d elated. Hope you enjoy my list!Leigh Bardugo: Queen of YA and Queen of my heart. Bardugo is the author of two of my favorite books, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. I hope the odds are in my favor someday.
I fell in love with Sabaa Tahir, Queen of Pain and Prose, this year. An Ember in the Ashes is one of my favorite series. I have no idea what I would say to her. Maybe I would thank her for Elias and Laia.
Tomi Adeyemi has this infectious energy about her. I love her social media content and of course, Children of Blood and Bone.
S.A. Chakraborty is the author of my new favorite series, The City of Brass. She’s an auto buy author and it would bring me so much joy to meet the person behind the magic.
The Poppy War is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I would be honored to meet R.F. Kuang and get my copy signed.

Man, this is such a great list! Bardugo would definitely be one of my top picks as well. I am in awe of the world building she does in her stories, so basically if I ever met her I would just cling to her sleeve and beg for her to teach me her ways haha. Also, I am loving the new theme and graphics! I’m not sure how new they actually are, but they are different from the last time I visited and THEY ARE SO CUTE I LOVE IT. Anyways, thanks for another great post 🙂

THANKS KAT! I’m trying to get on your level of graphics! Lol. The graphics are pretty new. I updated them towards the end of September.
I would love to talk to Bardugo about her world-building and characters. Her characters are wonderfully complex and it’s such a treat.
