Beat the Backlist 2019 TBR

Hi friends! If you read yesterday’s post where I outlined some of my 2019 goals, then you know that I’m planning to participate in the Beat the Backlist challenge hosted by Austine @ Novel Knight. Since I have a lot of books that I haven’t even cracked the spine of on my shelf, I figured this would help me tackle that. The rules for Beat the Backlist are fairly simple:

  1. Books must have been published in 2018 or earlier
  2. Must start and finish those books in 2019

I went through my Goodreads “Owned TBR” shelf and selected the titles that fit within the guidelines. Without further delay, here are all the books I want to read for in 2019 Beat the Backlist.

For summaries and info about any of the books on my TBR, you can check out my Goodreads “Beat the Backlist 2019” shelf HERE.

This TBR isn’t set in stone because most of you know by now that I’m a HUGE mood reader. Also, I reserve the right to unhaul books from this list. I plan to provide an update on my progress in my monthly wrap-ups starting in January.

What challenges are you joining in 2019? Which of the books on my TBR do you highly recommend? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading, friends!

  1. Lot of good choices on here! I want to get to KINGS OF THE WYLD too this year. I’ve made a variant of a backlist challenge in that I want to actually start reading series from beginning to end and not getting distracted after book one. I made a list of candidates and was a little alarmed at how many I either have already started or have been meaning to start!
