Have you ever had one of those weeks or months where you want to read ALL THE BOOKS but end up reading nothing? Well, that’s kind of where I am right now. These are the books that I’m in the mood to read right now, but still haven’t picked up. I hope to get to them soon. ish. My fingers are crossed. It’s hard out here for a mood reader.
We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal – Almost everyone on Twitter, including my friend Brittany, are raving about this book. I started it last night after I finished Opposite of Always by Justin Reynolds (so good, btw).
Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram – I can count on one hand the number of people I’ve seen talk about this book on social media. I saw it at the bookstore and I’m so intrigued. The library has it, but I don’t want to return it unread so I’m waiting until I finish We Hunt the Flame.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman – So I really want to watch this show, but I want to read the book first. Unfortunately, there’s a waitlist at the library. I hope I’m still in the mood for it by the time it’s my turn.
Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I’m in the mood for this because of the hype. I’m weak.
With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo – I have a review copy and I reeeeally want to read this RIGHT NOW. I love Elizabeth Acevedo. This comes out in May so I actually have to read and review this soon.
The Bride Test by Helen Hoang – This is another one I want to read RIGHT NOW and actually have to review soon. It comes out in May.
If I had the ability to read all six of these books at the same time, I would. That should be my super power. Are you haunted by thought that you’ll never read all the books in the world? Let me know in the comments!
