Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Want to Read This Summer

Hey everyone! I’m back with another post. Yay! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she assigns a topic and I make a list that fits the topic. This week’s topic is books on my summer 2019 TBR.

Honestly, summer came early for this Floridian back in May when it was damn near 100 degrees and my AC broke down, but that’s neither here nor there. We’re here to talk about books. Not my disdain for the Florida weather.

This list is mostly contemporary, but there are a few SFF books that I’m hoping to get to. I like the idea of making seasonal TBRs so I might do this again for fall. For now, I hope you enjoy my list!

Love from A to Z by S.K. Ali
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite and Maritza Moulite
Piecing Me Together by Renee Watson
Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson
Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram
We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson

So, there you have it. Just a few books I want to read this summer. What’s on your summer 2019 TBR? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading!

  1. Great list! Unhoneymooners sound like it will be lots of fun! I also need to continue with the stormlight archive!
